Meet Your Photographer.
Hi, I’m Darrin Smith, the guy behind the camera. I’m the owner and founder of Gifted Hands Multimedia.
To give a brief background, I grew up in the Indigenous Village of Wakapoa, Region 2, Guyana. As such, I was always surrounded by nature and have always loved it. Consequently, this is where my love for photography was birthed and more so the genre of nature photography. Wedding and Portrait photography was never something I thought I’d be doing or love, but as I took photos of people over time, I became pretty good at it.
Today, most of my photography work is done outdoor where the beauty of nature is reflected in all my shots, whether it be for weddings or in my portrait photography. I really do enjoy it, and I’m not satisfied until I get the perfect shot.
But you may be wondering why the name ‘Gifted Hands Multimedia?’ Simply, the vision is to offer much more than just photography but rather the complete multimedia package. For example, we’ve recently started offering full wedding day and highlights films packages, in addition to our regular wedding photography packages. We also have intentions of expanding beyond portrait and wedding photography/videography in the very near future.
